Dramatic footage from the scene shows large plumes of smoke billowing into the sky at Napier Barracks in Folkestone, Kent, where a fire has started at the facility after reports of a riot this afternoon. The barracks were being used by the Government to house 400 asylum seekers since September last year despite concerns about the conditions. A petition calling for them to be shut down over concerns about conditions was launched last Friday and has now been signed by more than 18,000 people.
