'Monstrous' girl gangster who became one of the most vicious assassins on the streets of
Gakirah Barnes, from Chicago, built up a reputation as one of the most infamous female gang members in US history after amassing thousands of followers on social media. Barnes was known as a 'young killa' after she was rumored to first killed at 14 but she was shot dead in 2014 after being hit nine times in the chest, neck and jaw. Barnes has gone on to become immortalized in YouTube memorials. 'There was this devilish, monstrous little girl who was going around killing people and that she also talked about on this online', one professor who studied her said. She was thought to be one of the most notorious shooters in the history of that neighborhood - and she's a girl', a local reporter added.
