South African court hears about brilliant student who was gang raped



Hannah Cornelius, 21, (left) was a brilliant student with a bright future before her life was brutally ended by three men who dragged her into the bushes, gang raped her and crushed her skull with a large rock, a South African court has heard. The group of four men - Vernon Witbooi, 33, Geraldo Parsons, 27, Nashville Julius, 29, and Eben Van Nieberk, 28, (top right) - are now facing a string of charges over Cornelius's rape and murder and almost killing her good friend, Cheslin Marsh, 22 (bottom right).
