O ministro dos Negócios Estrangeiros anunciou aos deputados que está a ser preparado, com o ministério da Solidariedade, um programa de emergência para apoiar a comunidade de 280 mil portugueses naquele país.

Edward Oliver, 24, from London, has been in a relationship with his benefactor for two years - and has even had his student debt wiped out following his marketing degree at Kingston University. He insists he has a long-term friendship and financial agreement with the 56-year-old father-of-one - who also pays his rent - and whenever they go on holiday Mr Oliver insists on separate bedrooms. Mr Oliver (left and right) added that they often travel by private jet or in supercars when they go on holiday, and recently enjoyed a ten-day spa holiday in Germany which cost £20,000. Some of the gifts he has been given are also pictured (centre).

Com o nível atingido pela movimentação anti-salazarista em 60/61, outros meios se tornaram entretanto necessários (e possíveis) para além da imprensa clandestina. Essa foi a razão pela qual o PCP se decidiu, em princípios de 1962, à criação de uma rádio clandestina.
Nestes e noutros momentos deu a RPL uma contribuição particularmente valiosa para se criar uma expressão política ajustada à intervenção popular e para a popularização dos objectivos essenciais a conquistar com o derrubamento do regime fascista: a conquista das liberdades fundamentais (de expressão, de reunião, de associação, de manifestação) a liquidação do aparelho repressivo com a dissolução da PIDE, a libertação dos presos políticos, o fim da guerra colonial. Bem como a reivindicação de direitos sociais básicos (ao trabalho, à segurança social, à saúde, ao ensino) e o controle democrático dos sectores económico.
Assim, deu a RPL a sua contribuição para que, logo no dia 25 de Abril, quando o Movimento das Forças Armadas neutralizou o aparelho repressivo do regime, o povo saísse à rua, e numa intervenção massiva de grande coesão política, trouxesse para o centro da revolução dos cravos as grandes reivindicações para uma real democratização da vida nacional.
O POETA NUNCA NOS EXPLICOU ESTE PORMENOR DE GRANDE IMPORTÂNCIA.SEI QUE QUANDO REGRESSOU DO SEU TRABALHO "PATRIÓTICO" FOI COM O PCP QUE FOI CONVERSAR.MAS AÍ ALGUÉM QUIS VER AS "CONTAS".PARTIU PARA O PS...e fez muito bem que por 3 meses de trabalho na propaganda da emissora nacional ganhou uma reformazinha...

The family came to Britain under a Government scheme designed to encourage people to move to the Scottish Highlands and settle in rural areas - but after their visa scheme was scrapped, Mr and Mrs Brain were told they would be escorted onto a plane by Home Office officials. The hard-working family (pictured left and right with Nicola Sturgeon and MSP Kate Forbes) has now been threatened with deportation and said the farce risked leaving them homeless and bankrupt. They have just been granted a two-month stay of execution following a public outcry over the family's treatment.

A diretora do jornal Público, Bárbara Reis, vai deixar em novembro o cargo que ocupa desde 2009, anunciou, esta terça-feira, o Conselho de Administração do jornal num comunicado interno a que Lusa teve acesso.
