INTERVIEW - Au lendemain du premier tour des élections municipales, la présidente du Front national dresse un premier bilan, et évoque les perspectives qu'offrent ces résultats à sa formation politique.

O resultado viu-se ontem, nas eleições municipais francesas. A Frente Nacional voltou a ganhar uma cidade, no Norte que já foi bastião comunista e socialista. Em Avignon e Fréjus vai para a segunda volta à frente. E em Marselha, o segundo município mais populoso do país, está à frente da esquerda e disputando a cidade com a direita.

Isto é uma primeira volta; quando os franceses voltarem às urnas a história será um tanto diferente. Mas isso importa pouco, porque a tendência é clara. Hoje, a filha do pai, Marine Le Pen, é presença permanente em todos os media franceses. As suas ideias tornaram-se plausíveis e pseudorrespeitáveis; concordam com ela entre um quarto e um terço dos franceses. O voto popular passou da esquerda para a Frente Nacional. Para todos os efeitos, há hoje em dia três pólos: a esquerda, a direita, e a Frente Nacional. Começa-se a desconfiar que esta caminhada só vai parar no Palácio do Eliseu. Com ela acabará a Vª República Francesa, e não só: acabará definitivamente uma certa ideia da Europa do pós-guerra.

Isto não se passa só em França. Gente defendendo as mesmas ideias estão no governo da Áustria ou da Letónia e apoiam os governos da Holanda ou da Suécia. Na Itália, a anti-política de Grillo sobe nas sondagens.

Chamem-se fascistas ou não, o que esta gente tem de comum é uma insinceridade e deslealdade de base em relação à democracia. A democracia só lhes interessa para manipular até chegar ao poder. E uma democracia sem ideias abre-lhes o caminho. Uma democracia que não acredite no futuro pode bem acabar por não o ter.

Islamic law is to be effectively enshrined in the British legal system for the first time under guidelines for solicitors on drawing up “Sharia compliant” wills.
Under ground-breaking guidance, produced by The Law Society, High Street solicitors will be able to write Islamic wills that deny women an equal share of inheritances and exclude unbelievers altogether.

Revelation by source close to investigators comes day after new appeal for information on British girl's disappearance in Portugal

Monteiro lived and often worked near holiday homes where the victims were staying at the time the crimes were perpetrated, he said. The source said the assailant was described by his victims as smelling of tobacco and speaking English but in a foreign accent. Some details are similar to those released by British authorities this week, but the sources said some of the victims described the man as being of African origin. Detidos em Braga suspeitos de assaltar ourivesaria em Aveiro

A Polícia Judiciária anunciou a detenção, em Braga, de quatro homens suspeitos de se dedicarem a furtos em ourivesarias, usando automóveis igualmente furtados.

Em comunicado, a PJ acrescenta que os detidos são estrangeiros e tinham-se instalado há cerca de um mês no norte de Portugal. "Demonstravam já uma grande mobilidade nacional, procedendo a prévio estudo dos alvos a furtar", refere o comunicado.

Na madrugada de quarta-feira, após o furto de um veículo automóvel e de um estabelecimento de ourivesaria na cidade de Aveiro, foram detidos, "em flagrante delito", na cidade de Braga, tendo sido recuperados todos os artefactos em ouro, "no valor de milhares de euros".

Sobre os detidos recaem "fortes suspeitas" da prática dos crimes de associação criminosa, furto qualificado em ourivesarias, de veículos automóveis, de falsificação de documentos de identificação e de permanência ilegal em território nacional.

Os detidos são detentores de identidades falsas e a polícia suspeita que tivessem atividade delituosa idêntica em outros países europeus, particularmente em Espanha.

Nesta operação, a PJ contou com a colaboração das autoridades policiais espanholas, na troca de informação relativa àquele "grupo criminoso".

Os detidos, com idades compreendidas entre os 23 e 35 anos, vão ser levados a tribunal para primeiro interrogatório e aplicação das respetivas medidas de coação.
