Metal detectorist who discovered one of Britain's most important haul of Viking artefacts is in line for a £2million reward
Derek McLennan unearthed the treasure trove in western Scotland in 2014
It included an enamelled Christian cross, silver brooches and a golden ring
It's been ruled the artefacts should be passed on to National Museums Scotland
But they must now raise a staggering £1.98 million to pay to Mr McLennan
