
Wawa Chombonggai (pictured as a boy left, pictured now right) was sentenced to death by his Papua tribe when he was six. When his parents died suddenly they believed he was a bad spirit and needed to cleanse the tribe of him. Thirteen years later the 20-year-old returned to his old home in an attempt to help the tribe change their way of life. He was greeted with a warm welcome.
