A REFUGEE who boasts of smuggling 5,000 illegal immigrants into Britain is today exposed by the Sunday Mirror as the Godfather of the Albanian crime mafia in Britain.
Kosovan Axem Syla Krifsha's nationwide network of 50 lieutenants, or ''padrons", trade in bogus EU passports and new identities.
Krifsha, who also uses the alias Kryeziu, claims he has made pounds 2.5million from his rackets. The British taxpayer has not been so fortunate. We'll pay out pounds 37.5million a year to pay for Krifsha's 5,000 illegal immigrants, if all of them claims asylum and all related benefits.
At the centre of Krifsha's criminal empire is a one-stop "travel agency" for illegal immigrants providing passports, forged visas, fake driving licences and ID cards.
Krifsha said: "If you have more relatives I can do them as well. I have Belgian, Spanish, French and Portuguese passports. I only have one Portuguese, but it's very expensive.
"It's a guaranteed original. It's not a copy. It's pounds 1,200. It's the only one I have.
"Portuguese passports are getting very difficult to get hold of. What I will do for your cousin is the Portuguese passport and I'll do a Portuguese ID card with it. You don't know me, but I'm a family man. When I say I will do something I will do it.You have people who need to come to UK. We do your cousin first because you are a family man. I get him a Portuguese passport and ID as a gift .
